Hyatt Centric Montevideo Hotel

This was a very very good stay on this our first visit to Montevideo. The location was unbeatable and excellent - just walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. You could walk to a shopping mall and a market

Exceptionally comfortable bed, reasonably large and well-designed room with coffee and tea making equipment, a flat-screen television, and ironing facilities.

Location: the hotel was close enough to many restaurants and Montevideo Shopping, and the river. The rooms were beautifully decorated and silent, liked it. The staff were very responsive and especially helpful and check-in was early.

The hotel was clean based in a funky style building with top-class and helpful staff. Booked it for our trip and had a very nice stay here.

Highly recommend it for business travelers

The first night, I was at the bar and the host introduced me to a fantastic local wine, Tennat. It was a friendly touch, made the evening special and the dinner followed was relaxing and delicious.

The breakfast had a skimpy omelet, odd for such a place but everything else was solid.

The rooms feel modern and comfortable. The hotel sits right across from the iconic Montevideo sign on the rambla, perfect for walks along the waterfront. The gym was excellent, with great equipment, and the heated pool provided a nice touch for relaxation. Staff friendliness stood out. Breakfast options were varied, with some high-quality dishes, but the coffee tasted a bit like paper filter, disappointing. Check-in took longer than expected, but overall, the experience made up for it. Great views of the Río de la Plata were a good bonus!

I loved the modern and stylish decor throughout, especially the art pieces and local crafts that added a lovely charm. The lobby was bright and cute.

Breakfast coffee could be better.

I had a fantastic stay, enjoying the gym facilities and relaxing by the indoor pool. The spa treatments were top-notch, making me feel completely rejuvenated. Just a heads up, the lighting in the pool area could be a bit brighter, but that didn't take away from the overall chill vibe. 🌟

The location was perfect for walks along the waterfront, and the amazing view at the promenade was fine. The large rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Don't miss the pool. It's like nothing you've seen before. A fantastic spot for a group getaway!

The only downside was the coffee at breakfast. It had a bit of a paper filter taste. I opted for tea instead, but it would have been nice to enjoy better coffee.

Awesome rooms and great views

The place has large, super clean rooms. WiFi worked fine too. I loved chilling at the bar, but the bartender used an old glass instead of giving me a new one, a bit off. The location couldn't be better, right by the beach and the iconic Montevideo sign!

Hyatt Centric Montevideo offered a delightful experience during my stay. the restaurant served a fantastic breakfast with delicious dishes that I thoroughly enjoyed. Situated in a chic building, it provided a magnificent view of the beach. the location was perfect, making it easy to walk to all the attractions I wanted to explore. the staff were exceptional, always ready to assist whenever I needed help.

definitely want to stay in that area again

Enjoyed the river view king room with comfortable beds and a private bathroom. Loved the heated indoor swimming pool and the well-equipped fitness center. Great service from staff, especially at breakfast with freshly made eggs and lovely pastries. Perfect location by the coast for walks and close to shopping.
